VoTech has formed a joint venture to address niche
markets in the international Unmanned Aerial Vehicle
(UAV) sector. This venture, formed with Mueller
Engineering, of Grandchester (QLD), is called
Richwood Aeronautics.
Richwood
Aeronautics is focussing on the delivery of high
performance power plants and airframes, customised
and integrated for UAV applications. The power
plants range from micro-turbines through to small
heavy fuel engines. Airframes are generally constructed
from composite materials.
Richwood
Aeronautics combines the systems integration,
electronic and aeronautical engineering skills
of VoTech with the airframe manufacture and integration
along with specialist compact turbine engineering,
modification and support of Mueller Engineering.
